Don’t know what to try after researching every national dish? We’ve got you covered! We researched all the best and top recommended foods from Istanbul and after watching hours worth of tours on Youtube we decided to do our own! The food in Istanbul is insanely cheap and delicious so going on a self-guided food tour is the perfect way to try everything you can fit into your body without burning a hole in your pockets. We are pretty cheap so this was the only option that really made sense for us and we feel we covered every dish we could possibly dream of here in the city. We were able to find every dish we researched in just the area of Taksim (specifically Istiklal Streets) in Istanbul. This area is packed with shops, restaurants, and street food carts so we did not have to journey long or far to try all the foods we wanted to. Don’t worry though, every part of Istanbul will have the foods we tried in this video so you don’t have to go to Taksim specifically to get some for yourself. We obviously did not have a guide so we can’t say that we know the best restaurants and spots for the food, but we were not disappointed with any of the places we stopped at on our own tour.
